Explore your new kitchen
Start with the part of the kitchen you want to change. Most homeowners pair refacing with one or two other updates and get it all done on one schedule.
Try a new look on your cabinets
Pick a door style, finish, hardware and countertop to see how they work together. Bring your favorite combination to the consultation and we’ll show you the real samples.

Why choose cabinet refacing?
In most kitchens the cabinet boxes are still solid. It’s the doors, drawer fronts and worn finish that date the room. Refacing replaces exactly those parts and keeps the layout you already know.
Days, not months
Most kitchens are finished in 3–5 days. Your sink and appliances stay connected, so you can still make coffee in the morning.
Far less than replacement
Keeping the cabinet boxes typically saves 30–50% compared with tearing them out for comparable new cabinets.
Every style is on the table
Shaker, raised or flat panel doors in thermofoil, wood veneer or painted finishes, plus soft-close hinges, pull-outs and new hardware.

Refacing is our specialty
Refacing is the core of what we do, so our installers do it every day. They know how to scribe a panel to an uneven wall and keep every gap even.
Materials made to last
Rigid thermofoil, real wood veneer and painted finishes, hung on soft-close hinges, with full-extension drawer glides as an option.
One project manager
The person who measures your kitchen stays your point of contact from ordering through the final walk-through.

Finish the whole kitchen at once
While your cabinets are refaced, we can replace the pieces around them: countertops, a tile backsplash, the sink and faucet, under-cabinet lighting and pull-out organizers. One team and one schedule, so nothing waits on another contractor.

What is cabinet refacing?
Refacing keeps your existing cabinet boxes and replaces everything you see: doors, drawer fronts, hinges and hardware. Exposed frames and end panels are covered with matching veneer, so the whole kitchen looks new. Learn how refacing works.
How long does it take?
Doors are made to order, which takes about 4–6 weeks after the final measure. Installation takes 3–5 days for a typical kitchen.
How much does cabinet refacing cost?
It depends on the size of the kitchen, the door style and the material. Refacing typically costs 30–50% less than replacing cabinets with comparable new ones, and your designer leaves a written, itemized quote at the free consultation.
Can I use my kitchen during the work?
Mostly, yes. There’s no demolition, and your sink and appliances stay connected unless countertops are being replaced too. We cover floors and counters and clean up every day.
Are my cabinets good candidates for refacing?
If the boxes are solid, level and dry, they can almost always be refaced. Water damage under the sink or a layout you want to change are the usual reasons to replace a few cabinets, which we can do in the same project.
Which areas do you serve?
Chicago and its suburbs, plus the Madison, Milwaukee and Waukesha areas in Wisconsin. See all service areas and showrooms.
